CAE at the International Helicopter Training Center
For the International Helicopter Training Center in Bückeburg, CAE provides a comprehensive range of training equipment and services. CAE has played a leading role in setting up the Hans E. Drebing Simulator Center, developed and supplied all simulators for the center and has supported the German Armed Forces with professional maintenance and upgrades since the first simulators were commissioned in 2002. The Hans E. Drebing Center in Bückeburg is one of the largest and most modern simulator centers in Europe. It has 12 full mission simulators for the helicopter types UH-1D, CH-53GS/GA and EC-135. CAE's comprehensive service ensures that the high demand for use of the center can be met around the clock.
CAE is responsible for simulator training courses with experienced instructors, supports mission training in the network, and was instrumental in the implementation of the Air Manoeuvre Tactical Leadership Training (AMTLT). AMTLT is currently used in the training operations of the International Helicopter Training Center.
In addition, CAE is involved in the operation of the NH-90 simulators in Bückeburg, Holzdorf, and Faßberg as a partner of HFTS.

Based on the future simulation network and the training resources for troop training, the Air Mobility Training and Exercise Center in Celle will provide high-quality mission-oriented training for teams and exercises for airmobile task forces. CAE at the booth of the Air Manoeuvre Training Alliance (AMTA) during ILA 2022This year CAE will once again be a training partner of the German Armed Forces at the Air Manoeuvre Training Alliance booth. The International Helicopter Training Centre and the Air Manoeuvre Training and Exercise Center will be able to better meet the growing demands by using military-industrial cooperation models and to adapt to new conditions in a flexible and economical way. CAE will present technologies and products at the AMTA booth, support digitalisation and improve the quality of training.
